The soft vintage pastels coupled with the pretty embellishments really appeal to me and give me dreams of high tea in Victorian times.
Actually it's become quite trendy to have high tea in our times.
Lots of cafes and restaurants are offering up 3-tiered cake stands with cucumber sandwiches and dainty cakes ("dainty" - there's a word not often used. :)
This one is very pretty and evokes old china and doilies. sigh.
Must take my old mum out for high tea somewhere soon - she'd love that.
