Sunshine Mickey Peppa Bob

Today's blog is continuing the theme of cartoon character cakes. I found a whole heap of these on the facebook page of Fabulous Cakes who are over in Point Cook, Vic. Like this cute Little Miss Sunshine cake:

I like to try and figure out how the decoration was done and I reckon this Mickey Mouse cake was done using paper stencils to cut out each piece from coloured fondant (I even think I could give that a go!). 

Here's their take on Peppa Pig (a very popular theme for kids' cakes I've found). Love the wee house.

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? 

My kids watch that - my "kids" are 17 and 20 - what's the attraction? I think it's plain daft. 

I like the cake though.
