Hopping on the bandwagon for Mother’s Day coming up this Sunday.
From Bake A Story by Natalia in Maroubra comes this lovely cake which has that Japanese blossom influence you see so often in old woodblock prints.
They also had these biscuits which were made for mothers day in 2012.
I like the look of this bunch of flowers which is another idea for Mothers day...
...or a bunch of cupcakes with flowers on them (this might be my level of skill - doesn't look too difficult, especially if I get someone to make those flowers and I buy some of those lovely lacy cupcake wrappers):
