Lots of last traders for Cakeriffic.

Oops - went away for the weekend and didn't get back until midday yesterday.

We're all flat out like lizards drinking here at the Cakeriffic office so I'm going to finish the blogroll of traders for the Cakeriffic expo which as you know starts on Friday.

First up we have Skat Katz. These guys come to all our papercraft shows with their cutting/embossing machines and apart from paper, these machines also cut and print on icing sheets.
Skat Katz are the Australian distributor of Edible Inks and
Photofrost Icing sheets which come in A4 sheets.  Lucy and Fred will demonstrate the print and cut features of their machines using Photofrost Icing Sheets and edible inks, for which they are the Australian distributor.

I'm looking forward to sampling the cupcakes from Sweetest Obsession
Mum of three, Amanda has stalls at markets and is baking furiously for the Cakeriffic expo. She has a passion for baking and decorating and makes multi-flavoured cupcakes like Red velvet, ferrero (wonder what that is), peanut butter, cookie dough and mint. Can't wait!

Wendy Mazzella started The Cake Connection in 1989 in Mt Evelyn (my town too.) and has not looked back. Wendy and her staff do all sorts of celebration cakes as well as classes and also sell cake decorating supplies.
They specialise in hand crafted sugar art such as flowers, bride and groom and anything their customers think of.
In October 2012 they developed Endless Creations flower modelling paste and will be demonstrating this product at the expo.

I have hosted a Thermomix demonstration and was very impressed with it. As it says in their promotional blurb: Thermomix can chop, beat, emulsify, mix, mill, knead, blend, cook, stir, steam, weigh and melt!
Alison is the rep who will be presenting Thermomix at the expo. By the way - guys love this high-tech machine so if they feel a bit like they have been dragged along, make sure you get them to the Thermomix stand.

The Chef's Toolbox - yep, I've also hosted a demonstration of these products. In fact I've had three demonstrations. I love love love their pans. Just brilliant. I have several and my friend Janita said to me the other day that she wishes she'd had them years ago.
Tiana will be showing their range of baking products at the expo and can organise a demonstration in your home (this is a good thing because you get to eat the yummy food that she makes!).

Tops for Cakes make cake toppers from acrylic. They do numbers, letters, brides& grooms - in fact anything you can think of and will personalise a cake topper to your preference. They also do simple but elegant cake stands.

There will be two cake decorating clubs at the Cakeriffic expo:
The Victorian Cake Decorating Society Inc
and
The Cake Decorators Association of Victoria Inc.

The VCDS is a non-profit organization which formed in November 1990 to promote the art of cake decorating to all Victorians. They have regular workshops, demonstrations and displays throughout the year at their meeting halls and also at libraries and craft shows.
They also participate in various fundraising activities.

The CDAV is another non-profit organisation which looks to further cake decorating across the state. They have 23 branches located throughout Victoria and the Melbourne metropolitan area, with 900 members.

Cakeriffic expo this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Caulfield Racecourse.
I hope you can come along and join in the excitement!
