It's all in the detail

It's good to look closely at things that people have made - be it cake, textile, clay, painting, whatever.
You get a glimpse into the time and skill it takes to create something and hopefully some appreciation too.

Here's some closeups from cakes made by Sugablossom Cakes in NSW.

It must take ages to do all those fiddly decorations, however it is those details that lift a work from mediocre to stunning, in my opinion.
